Fox 25: Some pandemic pets are now being returned
Excerpt from Fox 25 in Oklahoma:
“We had a lot of responsible owners come in and they adopted from our facility looking for a forever companion during Covid," said Rose Grimm, the shelter manager. "A lot of the times we would get situations where we would have somebody working from home and they wanted a friend to be with."
That opened up more space to save more animals.
But now, more people are bringing their pets back.
“We’re getting more returns because people are going back to work, they don’t have the time, kids are going back to school, and there’s just not enough focus," Grimm said.
